Appositives

An appositive is a noun or noun phrase that immediately follows another noun. An appositive explains or defines the noun it follows and is set off by commas.
Example: Scooter, the best dog in the world, ate a whole bag of chocolate chips.
Now you try! Write a sentence about yourself or a friend using an appositive and commas.
