The story element i'm writing about is characters. This element can really make a story shine. The character's personalities and attitudes can have a major impact on the story. These are called character traits. To make a story more exciting most authors have an protagonist and an antagonist. These are the heroes and villians. Most stories have the hero saving the day. -Brendan

I learned what a climax is. A climax is a part of the story that is the most exciting part. Like when the hero beats the bad guy. That is what I learned while reading Cinderella.

Hi this is Grant Schwarz!Yesterday I learned a story element called the climax. The climax is the sequence of events leading up to the resolution. the climax in Cinderalla was her parents dying, getting two mean sisters and a mean mother, working as a slave, and going to the ball and losing her glass slipper. The resolution is the prince finding out the slipper fits Cinderalla and marring her.
ReplyDeleteWhat i have learned about story elements are that elements make the story better. I learned that there are always a hero and villan or a good person and a bad person. That makes the story pop and always makes it better. love sydney

The story element im writing about is setting. The setting is so important for a story because in cinderella it was in the past so you knew what would most likely happen. That is why setting is so important.
ReplyDeleteThe story element that I am writing about is setting. The definition of setting is when(time),and where the story takes place in the story.- Adam
ReplyDeleteOne story element I learned about was the plot. The plot is the main piece of the puzzle with story elements. The plot is pretty much what happens and why. It also takes other story elements, like character traits, for example, and uses the other story elements to effect the plot, like the character's actions. Usually the stories have happy endings.

ReplyDeleteI learned about plot. Climax, rising action, falling action, resoloution, and exposition. Exposition describes the charecters back round. Rising action "leading up" to the Climax which is when the story changes for the charecter(for better or worse). The Falling action is when the story "calms down" and leads to the Resoloution which is when the charecter(s) defeat the villan.
One story element i learned about is characters. There is always a villian and a hero. most of the time a villian is called antagonist and heros are called protagonist. The hero is usally the one saving the day.
ReplyDeleteI am awesome,
Halle
What I enjoyed learning about was exposition. Exposition is the begining of a story. IT is extremely important to a book because without a begining there would be no main idea no topic sentence wich would give you no idea of what your reading about.
ReplyDeleteone thing I learned is plot.Plot is the hero the villion and setting. The setting is were the story takes place. The hero is the one who saves yhe day and can aslo be called the protagonis. The villion is the bad guy antagonis

One story element I learned is about the charicters in a story. Every charicter in a story has a trait. Like a charicter could be good, bad, kind, mean, or caring. Like in Cinderella the step mom had a mean trait and so did the step sisters. But Cinderella had a kind trait. That is what I learned about story elements. - Zoe
ReplyDeleteOne story element I learned was the plot. The plot can be the setting, hero,or villan if there is one. The setting is where and when the story takes place. Just remember the hero is the protagonist and the vilan is the antagonist!

One story element I learned about is plot. Plot is the structure of the story and the sequence in which events take place. The beggining of the plot is called the exposition which is when the text is baically introducing the characters. Next is the rising action, this is the part of the text that leads up to the turning point or the climax. The climax is the part of the text that is the turning point this is also usually the most exciting part of the book. Then there is the falling action which is the part of the text that closes off any loose ends. Then there is the resolution in which the conflict is solved. Thanks for reading!
