Word for Word

We recently learned about the difference between a dictionary and a thesaurus. We also reviewed how to use these resources properly. Find a word that you are unfamiliar with as you are reading your current AR book. Look that word up in the dictionary and find its definition. For this post I would like you to include the word and definition. Click comment when you are ready.
